2009 Awards - subcontractors / service

The Beukes House Project was exclusively designed, manufactured and installed by East Coast Kitchens without the use of subcontractors. The Project was managed from the administrative offices at the factory where a detailed strategy was implemented. Once the layout of the cupboards had been approved, the amount of board needed was determined by computer program. Once the stock had been purchased, a plan which was also computer generated, was handed to staff for assembling purposes. Upon completion, workshop foreman Mr H Shabala carried out a thorough inspection of the cupboards, before giving the go ahead for installation.
