Greg Beykirch - Financial Director

After having completed National Service, Greg started out his career in the Deeds Office where he worked for 3 years. While serving as a Title Deed Examiner, he attended university part time.

He then worked as a Railway Stoker for a year in order to complete university and thereafter joined Byron & Jooste where as an Audit clerk, completed his articles and qualified as a chartered accountant. Greg spent 8 years at Byron & Jooste before joining DS&T.

7 Years with DS&T followed before taking up the challenge of opening his own practise. At DS&T Greg was responsible for managing audits, accounting officer functionality, trusts export incentives, general taxation, and served as a member of the firm's technical committee.

He ran his own auditing and accounting practise, full time for 3 Years, and part time for 8. The services he provided included performing of audits of entities, accounting officer for close corporations, taxation and general financial advice.

Greg has been with Master Builders KwaZulu-Natal for 15 Years and is responsible for all financial aspects of the Association. He is registered as a tax practitioner with SARS and holds B Comm, B Compt Hons, CA(SA) qualifications, travels to India once a year, follows the stock market and enjoys sport.
