2010 Awards - Special Projects

This project at the new King Shaka International Airport involved the complete fit-out of the lounge. An empty shell was handed over to the contractor and the fit-out contract needed to be completed in 2.5 months. The floor area of approximately 700 m² includes ablutions, back of house kitchen facilities, smokers’ lounge, children’s lounge, bar, business centre and general seating area. Being a business class lounge the specification on the final finishes was of an extremely high standard with a unique design. The end product was delivered within budget, within the programme stipulation and to the client’s extreme satisfaction.
