Afrostructures (Pty) Ltd is a specialised, structural concrete contracting Company, which includes a well-established building division. The Company, whilst being self-sufficient in tendering and acquiring its own work, maintains a close working relationship with its associated Companies (Afrocon Construction (roads), Afroplant (hire) and Afropipelines.)
This “Group” association has proved extremely beneficial in enabling the “Afrogroup” to offer competitive pricing where these multi-disciplines are called for.
Afrostructures (Pty) LTD, formed in 1980, is still managed by four Directors who, between them, have over 80 years service with the company.
Our project teams strive to maintain the strong foundation of trust and mutual respect established over many years with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers. Our established Company policy of shared performance responsibilities ensures the highest degree of professional service delivery on all projects.
At present the company employs approximately 250 hourly paid employees and 35 monthly paid staff generating an average annual turnover of approximately R100 million. The Company runs its own internal stores devision which owns an extensive range of shuttering, small plant and other equipment (including concrete mixers and small plant) required for it’s various projects.
Afrostructures (Pty) LTD provides in-depth management and supervision on all projects, including hands on involvement by the Company’s Directors, Project Managers and Supervisors.
The Company’s main business is the construction of bridges, culverts, concrete retaining walls, concrete canalisation, water reservoirs, and concrete roadways, and includes building works on a large scale. (Office blocks, factories, warehouses, residential houses, etc)
Our team of experienced construction personnel provide efficient cost controls, accurate scheduling, quality controls resulting in efficient and timely execution of the works throughout the duration of the project.
Sound knowledge of local building requirements, health and safety and other local authority requirements ensures all projects are completed on time and on budget without compromising quality.
