Graeme Kerr Building Contractors was established in 2001.
I have been in the building industry for 30 years. I have a National Diploma in building with 20 years experience with LTA, Grinaker, Stocks & Stocks and Gordon Verhoef & Krause. Our work force is of a strong nature, we have qualities such as honesty and reliability keeping us a step ahead of the rest, topped with a wealth of experience and professionalism in the industry over the years.
We all work towards the idea of: How can we be more successful, and believe we can achieve this by keeping our prices very competitive, if not better than our competitors and have a better working relationship with our clients. We offer the best quality workmanship, stick to the basics and remain a straight-down-the-line business.
The team consists of myself Graeme Kerr, controlling and managing the sites (the buck stops here); Peter Stephenson (who has a Higher National Diploma in Building Surveying HNDBS (QS), and is a registered Professional Contracts Manager (Prcm) with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions. Peter has 34 years in both the Building and Civil Engineering Industries, having worked for Murray & Roberts, SM Goldstein, Stefanutti & Bressan, Grinaker LTA, as well as undertaking project management on Mauritius in Luxury Hotels), 5 Contract Supervisors, 5 Foremen, and a labour compliment of over 150 hard working men.
Our Site Supervisors are friendly, obliging to the clients needs, and are constantly building a strong, positive rapport with our clients offering them the best level of service. At every site there is at least one foreman if not two, depending on the size of the operation. We have ten vehicles to fetch and carry the workforce and one truck to deliver the goods to your building site.
We have variety of plant equipment, our own scaffolding, power tools, and contracting equipment. We specialize in new houses, commercial and industrial work, as well as alterations and additions to houses and factories. We have numerous references from varied contracts that are only too happy to discuss their satisfaction.
