Industrial Painting ( Corrosion Protection)
Besides the vast scope handled during construction days on Sasol 3, other substantial contracts are worthy of notice: 40 000m2 for Dillinger Engineering at Iscor Vanderbijlpark; 116 000 m2 for Voest Alpine on the Corex Plant, Iscor Pretoria; 800 tons for Harrison & White at the new galvanizing line at Iscor, to name a few.

Numerous large contracts have also been undertaken and continue to be undertaken at major plants such as Sasol 1, 2, 3 and Sasol Polymers Midlands. Besides contracting direct to the major Petro chemical clients, work is also being undertaken for major clients such as Babcock, UHDE, Harrison & White, EL Bateman and Lurgi.

Scaffolding
ISC is carrying out Maintenance Scaffolding at Sasol 1,2 and 3with about 1000 tons erecting and dismantling daily.
Projects in south Africa for Impala Platinum, Tafibra woodchip Plant and Lafarge Gas conditioning Tower have been done using 50 to 100 tons. Our Branches in Zambia and Mozambique are erecting ,dismantling and Hiring out Scaffolding of about 100 tons.

Industrial Sheeting
We carry out Sheeting & Cladding to industrial and domestic buildings, plants, equipment & conveyors. All standard available profiles can be fitted using positive or concealed fixing methods. ISCMATLA is in touch with the latest sheeting systems and can advise on the use of the best and most suitable system to be used for the right purpose.

The Company can provide design and Technical Drawings as well as the supply and erection of various profiles of sheeting, with work load often exceeding 200.000 square meters per annum. One of the most notable contracts carried out to date was the design, supply and installation of the total Saldanha Steel Plant cladding, ventilation and soundproofing works in excess of 200,000 m2.

This has proved to be a major area of involvement since 1982 with activities in both the Commercial and Industrial fields.

Fireproofing
ISC offers Fireproofing to Structures and Equipment, to provide among others for Petro Chemical Plants with high risk explosive liquids.
Fire Proofing can be offered with special formulated plaster or with Insulation for areas with movement calculated for the different needs, Temperatures and Fire ratings and durations to give a fire proofing up to 2 hours.

Scaffolding
Scaffolding is a service that ISC has been offered as a service since 1999 and was at first only carried out on projects, but since 2004 it has been a service rendered to maintenance services also.

Asbestos Removal
ISC is an approved asbestos demolition company with government approval.
