• MCE was established 15 years ago as a sole proprietor by Dave Blackmore - Mechanical Engineer and current Chairman.
• MCE appointed Phiwo Thango - Chemical Engineer and B-Com graduate as Shareholder and Director.
• MCE has been split into three business units: MCE Fabrication and Construction, MCE Pro Site Services and Supplies and
• FMC Well established machining facility geared to support the organization in its business units with the supply and manufacturing of components and
• ALUREF onsite maintenance unit supporting the Hillside smelting operation.
• MCE render services mainly to the Mining-, Smelter-, Chemicaland Sugar industries.
• MCE employs 160 employees and 150 contractors.
• ALUREF employs 110
• MCE is a ISO 9001 accredited company.
