Company Profile

Security Fencing and Alarms was established by Sandy Dalrymple in 1966.  As a pioneer firm for the Region, this Company was responsible for much of the Foundation Contracts in the developing area.

Neville Loosemore joined the Company in 1993 having just completed his Compulsory Military Service, as a Contracts Manager.

Over this period in time, the Company completed many fencing Contracts.  The major Contracts completed were:

• Perimeter Fencing at Bayside Aluminium
• Perimeter Fencing at Hillside Aluminium
• Perimeter Fencing at Richards Bay Minerals
• Perimeter Fencing at Richards Bay Coal Terminal
• Perimeter Fencing at Bell Equipment
• Perimeter Fencing at Mondi Kraft
• Perimeter Fencing at Indian Ocean Fertilizers
• Game Fencing at The Eastern and Western Shores at St Lucia
• Game Fencing at Mkuze River Gorge
• Game Fencing at False Bay
• Game Fencing at Mnqobokazi

In 2008 Sandy Dalrymple retired and Neville Loosemore took ownership of the Company.

In the subsequent period, Security Fencing and Alarms has completed many Contracts, which includes:

• Department of Agriculture – Makhatini Irrigation Scheme

Eight highly qualified on site Supervisors and sixteen workers make up the core-element of the erecting staff with on site work being completed by a high percentage of local labour.
