Temoc was established in June 1999 to serve the growing industrial electronics market in the greater Zululand region of KwaZulu-Natal.
We have a well equipped project team in place that has successfully completed numerous projects in the Richards Bay area.
Currently we boast a five star rating in safety for the eleventh year running and have had no disabling injuries. This is due to the strict control measures that are in place.

To fulfill its vision, Temoc has entered into joint ventures and alliances with companies in Southern Africa and Europe in an effort to offer you our clients, a comprehensive range of services and products.

Our Main Achievements So Far
- We Managed and installed the automatic tube transport system with its required laboratory equipment for HMI Ticor in 2002. The equipment included an auto optical emission spectrometer, auto grinding machine and dedusting system.
- We Managed and installed the complete fire detection and suppression systems for the Hillside 3 Expansion project in 2003. That included all networking, development, planning, programming and the Scada.
- We managed the Potmicro change-over and Installation as part of the Alpsys Project for Hillside in 2007
- We have maintained electronic equipment within Hillside for the past 11 years.
- We have maintained Hillsides Fire Alarm system for the past 10 years and have done all modifications requested by them
- We Installed The Fire Detection System for the Protea Hotel at the Waterfront in 2007 and the Roadlodge Hotel in 2008. Both these hotels are located in Richards Bay
- We Installed Conveyer detection systems at RBM and are currently installing Pyrogen Aerosol Generating Suppression Units in their electrical cabinets
- We have also installed Fire detection & Suppression systems at various other smaller sites, and are also responsible for maintenance and service of these systems.

- We Install and maintain Fire Suppression Systems.
Due to the specialized nature of our business, we find that most of the equipment that we maintain originates outside of South Africa. This often presents logistical nightmares if not managed correctly. We also manage and import specialized equipment.
We have the ability to manage contracts for supply and repair to most electronic equipment on a mandatory basis with a service system in place were units get exchanged out andrepaired immediately with prices being kept fixed on an annual basis. We offer a design/development facility with technical backup on a 24hr basis. We firmly believe that TEMOC will be an asset to any organization that is interested in using our services. |
