Unicon construction was originally establish by Tony Nott as BMX Building and hardware in the 1980's, since then the company has grown and diversified.
In 1992 BMX building closed and Tony started trading as Unicon Construction, concentrating on the construction of rural government clinics and schools. Tony and his wife Vicki registered the company as a closed corporation in 2003, Notts Projects cc and continued trading as Unicon Construction.
The company began specialising in concrete in 1995 with the Ethembeni Water Project on the Mooi river (kzn midlands), the client was Ungeni water with a value of R6.3mil. From there the company completed various water retaining structures and treatment works.
Unicon Construction services the general building and civil engineering sectors. Currently registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) of South Africa as a 5ce.
The companies specialises in reinforced concrete structures, mostly water retaining reservoirs, Bridges, Multi-story buildings. Other area's were the company has experience are Pump stations, Pipe lines, Monolithic filter floors and more.
Unicon construction is based in Pietermaritzburg, a small town in the Provence of Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa.
