One of the Association's Executive Council Members, Rob Bremner, bid farewell to Avange Grinaker-LTA on 31 January 2012. Rob held the position of Managing Director with the company and has worked for them for more than 28 years.

Unusual for this early stage of the year, we are having great difficulty booking venues for meetings and events on the days that we would like to have them, hopefully this is indicative of an improving local economy.

Welcome back after a well deserved break. We started the year off running with our CSI project and are currently assisting the Izulu orphanage and Thuthukani School.

Working on a major Civils project in the Durban CBD, Stefanutti Stocks Civils KZN recently achieved an Industry Milestone of having accomplished 750 000 man hours without a lost time injury.

Hot and dry/humid weather conditions like that which we experience in KwaZulu-Natal can have a dangerous effect on the health of workers who aren’t prepared for it.
