Communication from Ceta - SUBMISSION OF WSP/ATR FOR 2009/2010

The Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA) values the submission of your Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) for 2009/2010. The main purpose of the WSP/ATR is to assist the CETA with the compilation of the Sector Skills Plan, provide strategic direction as well as to inform research in the Construction Sector.

The CETA genuinely believes that collectively, we will construct extremely competitive portable skills that will positively contribute towards growth and development of South Africa through skills development and we profoundly thank you for your submission in this regard.

The CETA also wishes to extend its sincere appreciation to Construction Companies, Workplace Skills Plan Agents as well as Skills Development Facilitators whose contributions have led to increased submissions this year.

To assist the CETA further on achieving National Skills Development Strategy targets, you are requested to submit names of the nominees who wish to attend the Skills Development Facilitator training. Nominations should be forwarded to the nearest regional office.

Please also note that the Mandatory Grant payment for 2009/2010 submission will be paid out on submission of the implementation report as well as the workplace skills plan. Payment will be made in four (4) quarters by the CETA after approval.
