TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO Association MEMBERS

An invitation is hereby extended, but limited to, contractors who are members of the Master Builders Association to submit bids for the “greening” alterations to the Master Builders Association offices in Essex Terrace, Westville.

The Master Builders Association is committed to both its members and the policies of the country and therefore strongly recommends that contractors are registered with the CIDB with a contractor grading of 6GB (5GBPE) or higher.

Preferences are offered to the bids that include for the transfer of skills and training policy as described in the tender documents.

The bid returnable documents are described in the tender documents and will form a part of the contract between the parties.

The documents (available in English only) are obtainable from the Master Builders Association offices, at 40 Essex Terrace, Westville, upon proof of payments of the R 500.00 non-refundable deposit per document, with effect from the 9th of November 2009 at 8:30 and up till 15:30 daily.

Sealed bids, endorsed on the envelope with “Proposed “greening” alterations to the MBA”, must be submitted to the reception of the Master Builders Association.
The closing date for the submission is Monday the 23rd of November 2009 at 12 noon.
No facsimile, late or electronic bids will be accepted.

The Association does not bind itself to accept the lowest (or any) bid and reserves the right to accept the bid as a whole or in part.
