CRDC Launch New Logo

As reported in a previous article CRDC (Construction Resource Development Centre) is one of the four Kwazulu-Natal based training providers to have been awarded trade test status by CETA.

On Tuesday September 22nd, Master Builders KwaZulu-Natal were among the invited guests who attended the launch of the new CRDC logo. CRDC Managing Director Cedric Hendriks explained that the change was prompted by the need to symbolise the various facets that encompass their New Construction Centre of Excellence, and that the new logo successfully incorporates all elements.

The Building represents training applicable to the construction sector, the road is symbolic of Civils related training while the mortarboard (academic hat), is to indicate that their graduates are now awarded with full qualifications. With CRDC also providing management and supervisory skills training, the message that they offer largest accreditation in South Africa, is proudly conveyed.     

Guest speakers included Gavin Strydom (CETA), Brandon Abdinor (Master Builders KwaZulu-Natal) and Councillor Mpume Chamane who was enthralled by the prospect of decentralised trade test centres, saying that “Equipping people with the necessary skills, is what will bring about economic change.”
