Regional Roundup: Midlands

The Midlands region has experienced some exciting happenings of late with the excellent attendance at our regional roadshow, serving as testimony to this. In the Midlands, events such as these haven’t always been met with the greatest of enthusiasm however this time around, it was a tremendous pleasure to have over 50 members make themselves available. It is encouraging that members are seeing value and are keen to find out what new and exciting initiatives the Association is embarking upon. 

The announcement of a health and safety project to be piloted in our region was particularly well received. A part-time Safety Officer is to be employed to assist members in maintaining their safety files for the duration of their construction projects. Some details are still to be finalised however should you require further information, please feel free to contact me.

After a tough six months in which business proved exceedingly difficult to come by, there does seem to be a renewed sense of optimism. Developers are planning projects again and requests for quotations are definitely on the rise. Although it may be slow going for now, there does seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel.

In essence we are providing our members with mini websites. In order to complete your page, we only require that you supply us with a company logo, 5-6 jpg photographs, a company profile and some testimonials if you have them.

We have already advertised the URL findabuilder.co.za extensively, there have been press releases; a vehicle has been branded and we have also placed an ad promoting it on the front cover of Midlands, Zululand and South Coast Yellow Pages. 

Regardless of the time, effort and cost repercussion to the Association, there are no cost implications for members. This is an excellent service we are providing ….. FOR FREE.
