New And Improved Conference Facilities

Master Builders Kazulu-Natal, from our Essex Terrace premises in Westville, has for some years been providing excellent and affordable conference facilities. We are fortunate in that we have enjoyed an abundance of repeat business, with many happy clients having sent through testimonials commending us on our service levels.

The time had however come for the facilities to be upgraded and it was with some regret that while renovations were underway, we have over the last seven months had to turn customers away.

Master Builders KwaZulu Natal took the decision in 2009 to green our building with the upgrading of conference facilities being a logical inclusion. While the project isn’t yet 100% completed, it will be within the next couple of weeks with net result being as follows:

• A much greener building that will be more energy and water efficient with a renewable parallel electricity supply. The greening interventions will be showcased as a source of information and inspiration, not only furthering and promoting environmentally sustainable building practices, but also enhancing our brand and creating greater awareness of the Association and its members.
• A much expanded and improved conference centre with excellent training facilities.
• A streamlined supplier platform allowing associate members to make their products and services known to members and the public.
• Enhanced catering and function facilities
• A green building exhibition coupled with a marketing platform for suppliers and green goods and services
• Additional Parking

Conference facilities now include 3 function rooms, 3 board rooms and 3 training rooms.
The function rooms seat from 30 to 200, the boardrooms 2 to10 and the training rooms from 10 to 20.
On the 18th of August 2010, 9 months after our major alterations began, our new conference facilities albeit that there are still some finishing touches to come, was christened by SAFCEC who are seen in the above image, enjoying lunch in our newly refurbished Atrium.
