South Coast Regional Round Up - May 2010

On 20 May 2010, a site meeting was held at our newly acquired premises with all members invited, who had indicated that they would like to participate in the alterations needed to get it fitted and operational. It was decided that only members will be used for this work. 

Ray Basson our Regional Chairman is to be project manager for the alterations and will in due course notify those selected to participate.

The Nandezulu Community project also got underway some 3-4 weeks ago and is now very near completion. As with the 2009 Gamalakhe Community project, members came forward and pledged everything needed for its completion, it was overwhelming, and absolutely fantastic to witness. A handover ceremony will be held involving all donors and members who participated in this project.

At our AGM on 25 May 2010, Ray Basson was reelected as the Associations South Coast Regional Chairman and will serve for 2010/2011 period. Thys Blom was also reelected as Vice Chairman, with Markus Gonzalves as 2nd Vice Chairman.
