Port Shepstone Pre-cast: Going Green Campaign

Cutface Retaining

Press Release

Port Shepstone Pre-cast is proud to announce the launch of our new logo and “Going Green” campaign.  With a world- wide focus on saving the earth, Port Shepstone precast is leading the way on the South Coast in the building industry, and taking steps to ensure that the environment comes first!

It takes 12 000 years to build up the top soil on the surface of the earth, and this can be lost if precautions are not taken to avoid erosion.  With our Green products, we can ensure that surface erosion is minimized.  Terraforce is an eco friendly product that assists with erosion control, and allows plant roots to grow through to the ground.

The trend in architectural design is to move towards products that allow the earth to breath.  Terracrete is the ideal product.  It is a hard lawn paving brick that allows the grass or ground cover to grow through, thus providing a solid surface for roads or parking areas, that is eco friendly.

Port Shepstone pre cast is also taking action to ensure minimal wastage by recycling concrete, steel and various other materials used in the building industry.

Port Shepstone pre cast also utilises the Lilliput sewerage system to recycle sewerage waste at their factory.  We are continually looking into new ways to save energy and benefit the environment.

PSP are also manufacturers of other quality products such as paving, cladding, cobble stones, bricks and blocks as well as many other products.  Quality, service and preserving the environment are the main objectives of PSP.
