The Association’s Joint Venture Matchmaker
 The Association is mindful of the needs of various parties to engage in Joint Ventures in order to maximise their capacity to compete for, and secure, construction work. This is particularly relevant for public sector clients in light of both the BBBEE legislation as well as development imperatives inherent in the industry. It is envisaged that the programme will be of benefit to:-
So called developing and emerging contractors who may have the appropriate credentials to secure certain work but may require construction, technical and/or financial capacity to successfully undertake such work: and
So called established contractors who may desire to partner with parties to gain the necessary BBBEE credentials and/or participate in enterprise development or mentoring activities.
Any contractors who see the need to team up with other contractors to access additional capacity or certain skills.
Invitation to members
The Association is inviting members who see themselves as falling in the there categories named above to register their interest in participating in possible Joint Venture opportunities.
Interested enterprises will register for the scheme, thereby providing information which will allow us to analyse and group them, ensuring that appropriate matches are made.
Once an appropriate match is made, the Association provides the necessary contact details to the enterprises that have been matched and is no longer involved, aside from registering any JVs that are actually formed.
The Association cannot warrant that information provided is true and correct and can give no form of assurance whatsoever as to the skills, suitability, legitimacy, capability or any other factor whatsoever regarding any party who may be registered with this programme. The association cannot accept liability for any losses or damages that may arise out of the use of this service.
