Construction Industry News and Views Edition 58 August 2011
|
|
| Dear Members & Readers
It was most enjoyable compiling this edition as the theme that developed was that of members of the Association, achieving extraordinary milestones. In "Members in the News", along with other relevant snippets, we congratulate those who received recognition at the FNB KwaZulu-Natal Top Business Portfolio Awards 2011.
The article that follows makes it known that Kevin McGeer, managing member of Global Coatings has published a comprehensive business manual for paint contractors which has been endorsed by the South African Paint Manufacturers Association (SAPMA). We wish him success with it.
An article we request that you pay particular attention to is "Longspan Gutters - Proudly South African Homegrown Awards Candidate". In order to vote for Longspan online, if you click on the link provided you will see that there is a very quick and simple procedure to follow. While these votes aren't the only consideration, they do count towards the overall assessment so let's all support our colleague.
Members are again reminded that we would like to hear about your newsworthy accomplishments, so please do not hesitate to forward information onto us.
As always, additional articles provided centre on industry pertinent matters and it is our sincere wish, that you enjoy reading them as much as we enjoy compiling them.
