Invitation to the 5th KZN Sustainable Energy Forum (KSEF) Meeting
The theme of the 5th KSEF Meeting is Waste and Biomass to Energy. This forum meeting will be of particular interest to those engaged with Waste and Biomass to energy projects, research and investment.

1. A brief introduction to waste and biomass to energy
2. Renewable energy from micro algae by Prof. Akash Anandrag from MUT
3. Renewable Energy/Zero Waste projects at UKZN by Prof. Christina Trois from CRECHE Centre, School of Civil Engineering
4. Social and environmental concerns with waste to energy by Groundwork
You are welcome to attend this Forum Meeting at no charge, and to invite your relevant colleagues. If you have any information about your own solar thermal energy projects, or would like to bring the Forum's attention to matters relating to sustainable energy, please submit a 1 page summary of this information to info@kznenergy.org.za before 7 September 2011.
Just to note, we are making an attempt to find out what our footprint is for these meetings. We will therefore be putting a 'carbon' register at the front desk for you to fill in, this will be optional of course, but we are eager to have some form of baseline for such projects.
