Dear Members & Readers
As we close in on the 50th edition of our eNewsletter, we would like to thank you for your continued support. Our subscriber base is now closing in on the 3000 mark and we have just been informed that we are the recipient of the Constant Contact All Stars Award. Constant Contact have a client list of over 400,000 companies and look at the following best practice criteria during the adjudication process; Frequency of Communication, Rate at which permission-based mailing lists are updated, High open and click-through rates and Low bounce rates.
My colleague Ernest Roper puts a lot of time and effort into making sure that we serve you the best possible snapshot of news, views and events in the Building and Construction Industry and it is great to see that we are largely on the right track. Having said that, we are of the opinion that we can always improve the eNewsletter and would welcome any comments and suggestions on content that you would like to see here.
Enjoy the short week and sport-filled weekend. We would like to wish the Proteas the best of luck for their quarter final against New Zealand and the Sharks all the best for their historic Super Rugby match against the Crusaders at Twickenham. Who knows maybe this will be the year for some silverware for both teams...
