Tax Season Is Upon Us!

Invitation to 2011 PAYE Presentation

The process of employers deducting and paying tax on behalf of employees is the cornerstone of the Personal Income Tax process. The PAYE reconciliation process has for a long time presented difficulties for both employers and SARS because the reconciliation rarely works out first time round!

With this in mind, employers and interested members of the public are invited to attend a free presentation by SARS on the topic ‘PAYE - Balance your reconciliation with increased efficiency.’   

SARS experts will address questions on PAYE, from monthly declarations to annual reconciliations and give details on the entire PAYE process including payments.

These workshops will be conducted on Tuesday, 12 April 2011 from 09h00 to 13h00, in all regions.

The submission period for the annual PAYE reconciliation declaration is 4 April to 3 June 2011.
