Dear Members & Readers
Our fortnightly Newsletter has proven to be a valuable tool for us to disseminate useful and topical information. Ernest Roper, our Durban Membership Services Manager and online editor, puts a lot of work into sourcing and writing articles, and we trust that you find the contents meaningful and useful.
We are pleased to announce that Ross Stembridge will be joining us from 2 April as our new Building Services Manager. Ross comes with a wealth of practical experience and has worked in the Industry for a long time. We will be featuring Ross in our next newsletter and will give an overview on how he fits into the Association and how he can assist you. For now, you can look forward to regular articles from him on practical building and contractual matters.
Enjoy the 72nd edition of our Newsletter. As usual we welcome your feedback and input on our forum - http://forum2.masterbuilders.co.za/forum.php

The Joys of Being a Welder
I recently mentioned that I had come across a somewhat amusing web page penned by an ex-welder who it seems under no circumstances, would ever go back to his old profession. It is titled 'Welcome to worldwide welding' and while the advice on offer is both practical and relevant, the tone of his writing suggests that he has absolutely no love for it.
