The Master Builders KwaZulu-Natal Bursary Fund’s primary objective is to provide stimulus to young people who have chosen construction as a career of choice.  The Bursary Fund seeks to address the current and future skills shortage and to support the construction industry.

It was with great excitement that twelve beneficiaries of the Bursary Fund met at the Master Builders Centre in Westville. They were briefed on the background of the Bursary Fund and its objective of stimulating the future of the construction sector and grant letters were issued.

Beneficiaries were in agreement to visit Vuka Makhi classes on Saturdays to motivate Grade 11 and 12 students.

Three further beneficiaries will be selected to attend the Foreman Programme run by the Master Builders KwaZulu-Natal Training Academy. In total, fifteen beneficiaries will be supported by Master Builders KwaZulu-Natal Bursary Fund for the 2020 academic year.
