OHS Programme

Master Builders KwaZulu-Natal has been committed to supporting and educating Members about Occupational Health & Safety in the construction industry since 1964. Previously, contractors often lacked access to the specialist knowledge necessary to safeguard workers' health and safety. Today, however, the number of health and safety practices has increased.

Many contractors, especially those starting new businesses, may not fully understand the fundamental health and safety requirements and best practices. By offering free Health and Safety services to Members, the Association provides support and promotes the well-being of employees. In addition, Members are able to comply with the increasing volume of Health & Safety legislation.

The Association strives to create a culture of prioritising safety, minimising occupational injury, disease, and loss and preventing environmental damage
